Senior Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities :

1. Oversee all day-to-day logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.

2. Ensure smooth coordination between departments such as transport, warehouse, and customer service.

3. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency and consistency.

4. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operations managers and supervisors.

5. Set performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide feedback and coaching to team members.

6. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the operations team.

7. Identify areas for operational improvement and implement best practices in logistics management.

8. Streamline processes to reduce costs, improve service levels, and enhance overall productivity.

9. Utilize data and analytics to monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

10. Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business goals.

11. Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet current and future operational demands.

12. Contribute to long-term planning and decision-making processes, particularly regarding logistics and supply chain management.

13. Prepare and manage the operations budget, ensuring that all expenses are within approved limits.

14. Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving measures where possible.

15. Report on budget variances and recommend corrective actions as needed.

16. Ensure that the logistics operations meet or exceed customer expectations in terms of service quality, delivery timelines, and communication.

17. Work closely with the customer service team to address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients.

18. Monitor customer satisfaction levels and implement measures to improve customer experience.

19. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards related to logistics and supply chain operations.

20. Promote a culture of safety within the logistics team, ensuring that all safety protocols and procedures are strictly followed.

21. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

22. Manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective services.

23. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and service providers.

24. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.

25. Prepare regular reports on operational performance, including KPIs, financial results, and process improvements.

26. Analyze data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

27. Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

28. Lead and manage logistics-related projects, including the implementation of new systems, technologies, or processes.

29. Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

30. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

31. Perform any others duties as and when required by the management.

Requirement :

1. 3 years experience as Operation Manager / Senior Operation Manager in Logistic, Transportation or related field

2. Minimum Degree or Bachelor in Logistic, Transportation, Supply Chain or related field

3. Must be willing to travel or be assigned to outstation locations if required, depending on the organization's needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
