This role is pivotal in implementing, operating, and maintaining security tools, processes, and procedures designed to secure and mitigate security risks within the manufacturing environment. The position demands a profound understanding of manufacturing processes across all product lines at Keysight, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of Keysight’s manufacturing applications and assets that are directly connected to Contract Manufacturers (CMs). The primary objective is to identify, address and mitigate any potential cybersecurity issues that could impact manufacturing production.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement Security Measures:
    • Deploy, operate, and maintain cutting-edge security tools, processes, and procedures to safeguard the manufacturing environment and minimize security risks.
  • Global Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with Keysight partners, including Information Technology (IT), Information Security and Compliance (ISC), manufacturing partners, and directly connected contract manufacturers to enhance security across the manufacturing environment. This includes legacy systems, applications, and next-generation manufacturing systems and solutions discovery.
    • Ensure effective communication of progress and status to project teams, management, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Security Incident Response and Coordination:
    • Provide local support for security incidents, breaches, and compromises, coordinating with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to detect and respond promptly.
  • Solution Testing and Implementation:
    • Develop or collaborate with partners to implement and test new solutions, addressing any compatibility or performance issues by establishing operational support processes.
  • Develop and Implement Business Continuity Plans and conduct dry runs:
    • Design and execute comprehensive business continuity plans to ensure manufacturing operations can continue during system downtimes caused by cyber attacks. This includes strategies to secure critical shipments and minimize disruptions to production.
    • Regularly conduct dry runs to test the effectiveness of these plans and ensure readiness in the event of an actual cyber attack.
  • Compliance and Assurance:
    • Ensure compliance with security policies and standards, contributing solutions that enhance security assurance for Keysight insurers and customers.
  • Provide Consulting and guidance:
    • Work with partners and peers to educate, train and inform them of the latest tools, techniques, and security processes in IT applied in manufacturing environments.
  • Aligning Manufacturing Systems Strategy with Security Objectives:
    • Collaborate on annual planning, budgeting, and strategy for existing and prospective manufacturing systems, ensuring alignment with security objectives.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science/Information Technology.
  • Proficiency in various cybersecurity tools and technologies, including but not limited to anti-malware, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, encryption methods, and network protocols. Familiarity with ethical hacking and penetration testing is also valuable.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, C#, or scripting languages like PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Productivity Tools such as Power Automate, Power BI, Power App, and SharePoint.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, including knowledge of operating systems, network architecture, and the interaction between different components in a complex system.
  • Experience in leading and supporting business continuity planning and documentation, through collaboration with business partners, including the development of guidelines and documentation templates, is an added advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional and cross-geographical teams.
  • Good organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to multi-task.
