Job Responsibilities
- Inspecting construction work and comparing it with drawings and specifications
- Measuring and quality checking building materials and ensuring compliance to JKR standards.
- Identifying defects, deficiencies, or deviations from the specifications and recommend corrective actions to contractors and project managers.
- Monitoring progress and reporting to construction managers, architects and clients
- Keeping detailed records of work and ensuring compliance to JKR standards.
- Referring to plans and taking photographs of work, along with measurements and samples
- Liaising with contractors, engineers, architect, consultants and surveyors
- Review consultant-provided drawings, specifications, and instructions to ensure accuracy and applicability to site conditions.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of drawings for ease of access and compliance purposes.
- Checking that building regulations, health and safety, legal and ecological requirements are met
- Witness testing procedures and verify that systems perform according to design specifications and functional requirements.
- Working between an office and construction sites.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience in either Architecture or Mechanical & Electrical Engineering site supervision
- Experience in JKR projects will be prioritised.
- Demonstrate experience and understanding of local codes, standards, regulations and submission requirements (liaison with client, consultants, subcontractors, authorities including JKR,MBK, BOMBA, PAIP, TNB, IWK and Telekom)
- Able to work with minimum supervision and independent
- Well-versed with engineering/drafting software e.g. AutoCAD, Sketchup
- Understand the dynamic of working with a team and possess knowledge of client coordination and building relationships
- Responsible person with good communication skills
- Possess valid driving license and willing to travel
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend jobs
Supplemental Pay:
