In this role, you will have the opportunities to work with different teams such as production, procurement, planning, quality, technical, calibration services, suppliers and contract manufacturers to sustain and improve products and processes.
As a manufacturing engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Integrating products with different product structures as refurbished products into Keysight Remarketing Services (KRS).
- Work on New Product Introduction (NPI) and ensure timely launch of NPI.
- Set up refurbishment, option reconfiguration, test, repair and final configuration processes as well as capabilities at KRS. Continuously look into process improvement opportunities.
- Set up and maintain Test Station.
- Develop and maintain Operating Instructions (OI) or procedures for technicians and Outgoing Quality Assurance (OQA) inspectors.
- Provide product related training to technicians, OQA and Order Management (OM)/Planning.
- Work with internal partners (Product Support Engineering, New Products Division, Quality, Procurement) on any product and quality related issues to come up with resolutions/preventive measures if needed.
- Look into process efficiency improvements and automation opportunities.
- Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent in Engineering.
- Typically 2-4 years relevant experience for entry to this level.
- Requires general proficiency with tools, systems and procedures to accomplish job.
- Problem solving/analysis skills
- Root Cause Analysis
- Experience in a high mix low volume business nature is an added advantage.
- Knowledge in programming is a plus.
