  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

The QC Lab Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products by conducting tests and analyses in accordance with the quality control plan. The role emphasizes adherence to safety and environmental regulations while actively participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Safety and Compliance

  • Adhere to Safety Regulations: Follow all plant safety and environmental regulations and procedures.
  • Incident Reporting: Report any incidents to the supervisor promptly to uphold site SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) and quality policies.

Quality Control Testing

  • Conduct Testing: Perform testing for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products as required by the Quality Control Plan.
  • Assist with Analysis: Support the analysis of projects, customer complaints, and research activities.
  • Customer Samples: Assist in testing samples collected from customers to resolve quality issues.

Lab Maintenance and Equipment Management

  • Housekeeping Standards: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the lab environment, including the retain sample room.
  • Equipment Calibration: Ensure proper upkeep and maintenance of lab equipment; perform calibration and verification according to defined calibration intervals.

Accountability and Continuous Improvement

  • Quality Assurance: Execute quality assurance tasks to ensure the production of high-quality products for delivery to customers.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Actively participate in activities aimed at improving quality performance across the department and site.

Communication and Team Development

  • Interdepartmental Communication: Communicate effectively with other departments, such as Production, regarding any quality issues.
  • Participate in Activities: Engage in plant or departmental activities as required to foster team spirit and collaboration.
  • Self-Development: Pursue continuous self-development by attending required training sessions and workshops.
