Sports Direct Malaysia is currently looking for Senior Human Resources Executive to join our growing team.

Malaysia marks the first direct retail investment in Asia through a joint venture partnership with Malaysian owned MST Golf Group of companies, a well-established golf retailer and service provider in the region. Sports Direct Malaysia currently operates a total of 36 retail stores domestically and manages a proprietary SportsDirect.com e-commerce site for domestic and regional fulfillment. Job Description


Responsibilities :

Your responsibilities as the Senior Human Resources Executive will include but not limited to:

1) Recruitment
  • Coordinate and work closely with stakeholders and hiring manager for the full cycle of recruitment for all vacancies and new positions.
  • Coordinate and work closely with external parties to manage internship placement and other related programs associated with the higher education institution(s).
  • Coordinate the onboarding process and arrangement for all new recruits.
  • Manage the transition process, including exit interviews, offboarding formalities, and knowledge transfer.
2) Employee Relations
  • Assist and handling employees’ corrective matters, documentations in a fair, timely, and confidential manner in compliance with company policies.
  • Resolve employee grievances and ensure fair treatment in line with company policies and comply with the Employment Acts and Industrial Relations Acts.
3) Payroll Management
  • Support in HR related data updates into HR portal, maintain accurate employee records, produce relevant HR reports, and support compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Handle and assist for processing payroll accurately, ensuring adhere strictly to statutory requirement and company policies.
  • Collaborate and work closely with stakeholders and relevant parties to ensure all statutory compliances, Employment Act 1955 compliance, etc.
  • Assist and contribute to employee services such as respond to inquiries, provide employment certification letter, company insurance and SOCSO claim, if necessary.
4) Staff Movement
  • Facilitate and manage staff movement processes, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication between all parties involved.
  • To ensure all documentations are in place according to the process involved and updated in the HR portals accordingly.
5) General
  • Support in HR related data entry into HR systems, maintain accurate employee records, produce relevant HR reports, and support compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Support other HR roles and functions as per required such as engagement activity.
  • Any other assignments as directed by immediate superior as and when required.

Qualifications


Candidate must have the following requirement:

  • Tertiary educations in HR Management or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years working experiences as HR Generalist from retail industry is a plus.
  • Experience in handling and processing payroll is a must.
  • Well versed in statutory requirement by local authorities.
  • Strong in both verbal & non-verbal communication skills.
  • Good business writing skills.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft applications.
  • Good time management skills and deadline sensitive.
  • A team player with proven leadership skills, positive, service oriented
