Finance Manager

Newly setup company in marine related industry. Looking for a strong candidate for business and operation support.

RM12,000 – RM15,000 per month

Job descriptions:

  • Business partner to CEO in rolling out business plans and setup.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to Accountant across state within Malaysia
  • Handle full set of accounts for main company:
  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions and processing functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, staff claims etc.
  • Monthly closing of accounts
  • Prepare monthly management/ financial reports and supporting schedules.
    • HR:
  • Manage monthly payroll and statutory employee-related contributions eg. EPF, Socso, EIS, PCB (< 10 employees)
  • Yearly tax submission/preparation
    • Support and liaise with external stakeholders as required – bankers, auditors, tax officers, Company Secretary, Government agencies etc
    • Provide commercial support to internal stakeholders.
    • Provide support on systems rollout
    • Administrative support
    • Any other adhoc assignments.

    Requirements:

    • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualifications with at least 20 years of relevant working experience;
    • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills;
    • Independent and ability manage work with minimum supervision;
    • Supervisory experience is a must;
    • Willing to go the extra mile;
    • Good command of written and spoken English;
    • Make it right and can-do attitude; proactive in problem-solving;
    • Strong analytical skills with attention to details and accuracy at work;
    • Excellent organizational skill and high level of integrity;
    • Proficient in MS Office applications;
    • Good networking with bankers and experience in system implementation and setup will be an advantage;
    • Exposure to Corporate Secretarial and Audit is a plus.
