1.1 Experience And Skill 1.1.1 Minimum 1 year working experience in similar capacity. 1.1.2 Familiar with import and export procedures, government / custom documentation is an added advantage. 1.1.3 Good listening, communications and negotiating skills 1.1.4 Experience in sourcing and negotiating with overseas suppliers 1.1.5 Proficient in computerized system such as Autocount 1.1.6 Proficient computer skill in Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, Outlook). 1.1.7 Ability to communicate & written in English (liaise with oversea vendors). Good command in Mandarin is an added advantage. 2.1 Responsibility and Job Description (including but not limited to the below) 2.1.1. To prepare all documents needed for purchase/ return of raw materials, indirect materials, spare parts, packing materials, general purchase & services in accordance with purchasing procedures. 2.1.2 To assist in sourcing products/ services and negotiating with suppliers. 2.1.3 Assist in evaluating vendor’s performance. 2.1.4 To coordinate with Accounts on payment due to suppliers in various payment modes. 2.1.5 To prepare documents for submission to customs. 2.1.6 Purchase Order are placed in a timely manner to ensure on time delivery to warehouse. 2.1.7 Monitoring stock levels & identifying purchasing needs 2.1.8 Researching potential vendors for local purchases 2.1.9 To maintain proper records with order details & update filing system 2.1.10 Track orders and ensure timely delivery. 2.1.11 Liaise with warehouse to ensure all products & service in good conditions. 2.1.12 Assist in ad-hoc assignments as required by the superior including administration support.
