We're looking for an experienced Director of Marketing & Communications required for our Sales & Marketing Division. Job Summary The Director of Marketing & Communications reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing and dotted line to General Manager. The position has the primary responsibility of the Digital & Marketing efforts to support revenue generation, brand engagement, and sales strategies for the Resort. This includes the implementation and execution of marketing strategies that achieve the goals related to the ideal market mix, brand status, e-direct, advertising, social media and brand marketing efforts. The goal is to drive revenue in all segments. The position is accountable for the implementation of Brand Packages and Practices, and the successful execution of special events and promotional programs at the resort. Under the guidance and supervision of the DOSM and within the limits of established hotel policies and procedures, he/she promotes good quality and positive communications to promote and enhance the image of the hotel. In addition, he/she enhances the awareness of Shangri-La brand as one of the world’s finest hotel groups amongst target audiences as defined in the hotels and group’s strategic marketing and communication plan. Requirements • Minimum 5 years’ extensive experience in marketing, public relations, or communications, preferably in the hospitality industry. • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related fields • Fluent in oral and written English, local dialects, and Mandarin is an advantage. • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. • Proficiency in digital marketing, content creation, and social media management. • Strong network with media, influencers, and key industry players. • Drive for revenue and profit growth. • Creative, passionate and leads by example.
