CHIEF ACCOUNTANT

1. Financial Management & Reporting Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statement, etc.). Ensure accurate month-end and year-end closing processes. Provide financial insights and reports to management for decision-making. 2. Budgeting & Forecasting Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis with recommendations. Optimize cost control measures to improve financial efficiency. 3. Taxation & Compliance Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including corporate tax, VAT/GST, and payroll taxes. Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns and liaise with tax authorities. Ensure adherence to local and international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP, etc.). 4. Internal Controls & Audit Develop and implement internal financial controls to prevent fraud and errors. Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings. Maintain compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and industry best practices. 5. Cash Flow & Risk Management Monitor and manage cash flow, banking transactions, and working capital. Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies. Optimize debt management and investment strategies for financial growth. 6. Team Leadership & Development Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and training. Assign tasks and ensure adherence to deadlines and financial accuracy. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the finance team.
