Welder (Mill Operation/Central Workshop)

Responsibilities To carry out fitting and welding duties which include repair, service and maintenance of Vehicles, machineries and other equipment/machineries for the mill and workshop Carry out fabrication/assembling on machineries such as cages Monitor the use of materials and care of equipment and plant to minimize waste and damage. Ensure all direct laboring control work to safe working procedures and systems. Ensure equipment and tools are secure and used correctly. Inspect actual work done according to plans and standards; and whenever there is a Variance, help develop the appropriate remedial actions. Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements Undertake other duties as and when required by the management Requirements  SPM/STPM/STPMV/or equivalent  Minimum 3 years as fitter / welder  Computer Literate (Proficient in MS Office)  Able to communicate effectively  Able to work with minimal Supervision and in a team setting
