Resident Engineer (Highrise - Klang)

Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage daily construction activities for the high-rise building project. Monitor the progress of the project to ensure it aligns with the project schedule and specifications. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Ensure compliance with all local regulations, building codes, and safety standards. Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to maintain high construction standards. Review and approve construction drawings, designs, and material submittals. Report and resolve any issues related to construction delays, cost overruns, or quality discrepancies. Maintain clear and detailed records of all project activities, including daily reports, progress logs, and incident reports. Manage communication between the client, project management team, and construction teams. Ensure proper documentation of all change orders and variations to the original contract. Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team, resolving technical issues on-site. Ensure that work is completed in compliance with the contract terms and within safety guidelines. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional Engineering license preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction management or as a Resident Engineer, with a focus on high-rise buildings. Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and regulations. Proven ability to manage and supervise construction teams. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
