CRANE OPERATOR

with Offshore experience • Liaise with Bosun on planning the day’s work on deck and crane and Project Deck Supervisor / Foreman during Projects; • Execute crane operator duties in conformance with Sapura Energy Management Systems; • Complete crane operator daily logs, checks and crane maintenance duties as required; • Undertake dogging and rigging activities on deck as required; • Undertake Helicopter Landing duties as required by Chief Officer. This includes but is not limited to undertaking the role of Helicopter Landing Officer and helicopter team member / emergency response duties as required and qualified; • Undertake and assist in general vessel maintenance and repair duties as required; • Monitor all rigging to ensure safe use and suitability for task; • Fulfil all maintenance requirements for deck machinery and equipment as directed by the Chief Officer; • Maintain safety standards for the crew and deck areas; • Ensure that the workforce under their control are adequately trained, competent and authorized for the operations which they are required to perform, and kept informed of all relevant information to ensure their health and safety; • Assist with Mooring activities; • Carry out appropriate induction training.
