Troubleshoot and fix any issues or malfunctions with molds, identifying and resolving problems to minimize production downtime. 7. Maintain and repair existing molds by cleaning, polishing, and replacing worn or damaged components to ensure their longevity and optimal performance. 8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies related to mold making, and incorporate innovative practices to enhance efficiency and quality. 9. Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards throughout the mold making process. 10. Document and maintain accurate records of mold specifications, modifications, repairs, and maintenance activities. Required Skills a. Proficient knowledge of mold making techniques, materials, and processes. b. Strong understanding of blueprint reading, CAD software, and technical drawings. c. Skilled in operating and programming computer-controlled machinery, such as CNC milling machines, lathes, or grinders. d. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve mold-related issues. e. Attention to detail and precision to ensure molds meet specific design specifications. f. Solid mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations. g. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
