SCHEDULER [LABUAN]

Client of oil & gas company. Location: Rancha-Rancha, W.P. Labuan Responsibilities & Job Description The Scheduler shall be responsible for the following: • Produce a turnaround master schedule to show the overall scope of activities. • Produce detailed work schedules for the different phases based on the schedule memorandum, i.e. Plan & Prep phase, Pre–execution phase and turnaround execution phase. • Produce an accurate metric for reporting the actual work progress • Liaise with PECS project engineer to consolidate the planned project schedule into the overall turnaround master schedule. • Liaise with the operations engineer to produce detailed shutdown and start-up networks and validate it with the relevant managers. • Advise and recommend the turnaround preparation & execution head and OPU on the working patterns, overtime, resource levels required so that the optimum plan can be developed. • Ensure a system is set up to monitor progress against the plan. • Upon completion of the turnaround schedule, reassess the manpower levels and the dates when the manpower was required to be available • Provide a relevant, updated plan to the whole turnaround team at an agreed interval during the turnaround • Produce and monitor man-hour curves and inform the progress to the turnaround preparation & execution head • Attend daily progress meetings, report on the current situation and monitor any changes in forward planning and any restrictions to progress. • Produce daily progress report during Execution. Qualifications / Requirements: • Diploma in Engineering or equivalent • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in Oil & Gas and/or Petrochemical industry with 2 TA experiences • OR; At least 6 years of relevant working experience in any other industry.
