About the role:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of People and Culture to lead our expanding HR team and play a key role in shaping Ezypay’s people strategy.
This is a senior leadership role that will drive the HR function across Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, and Taiwan, supporting both office-based and remote employees. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and working closely with the executive team, you will be responsible for enhancing employee engagement, culture, and performance across the business.
As a Head of People & Culture, you will:
- Lead and expand the HR team, ensuring operational excellence across all regions
- Oversee talent acquisition to attract top talent across the organisation
- Drive a high-performance culture through engagement and productivity strategies
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, and Taiwan
- Develop and manage HR policies, benefits programs, and employee rewards & recognition
- Oversee performance management, career development, and succession planning
- Manage employee relations, providing guidance on grievances, conflict resolution, and mediation
- Lead learning & development initiatives to support continuous employee growth
- Manage remuneration programs, including salary benchmarking and incentive plans
- Maintain HR systems and analytics to track workforce trends and drive data-driven decisions
- Oversee the payroll function, ensuring accuracy and compliance across regions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, or a related field
- 10+ years of HR leadership experience, with exposure to AU/NZ employment frameworks
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices across multiple regions, including experience in new market expansion
- Proven experience working with remote and multi-cultural teams
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining a strategic focus
