KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : • Establish and implement product objectives & priorities, under US management. • Lead assigned product to support product D&D, application, manufacturing and technical support. Leads cross functional teams as needed (i.e. Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Technical Support, Sales) to respond to customer requests and ongoing engagement. • Ensure completion of projects from initiation to delivery; inform customer of deviations. • Ensure that all changes / enhancements are properly communicated, documented and released to customer. • Interface with upper management to ensure product have adequate resources, communicate status, and to coordinate resolution of technical issues. • Prepare and maintain customer product configuration. Identify potential revenue opportunity and prepare value added presentation. Support sales and marketing in quote preparation. • Review and approve product cost impact during ECO stage. • Analyze quality data and review warranty spending. Identify and prioritize quality and warranty improvement. Prepare and control warranty budget. Improve product reliability through analysis of field failures using statistical analysis methods • Engage escalated customer thru Technical Support team. Prioritize technical support, communicate status, and coordinate resolution of technical issues. • Review and approve, internal and external 8D, prior submission to management and customer. REQUIREMENTS : •Education / Training: BSc. / BEng. degree (mechanical or electro-mechanical or equivalent). MS degree is highly desired. •Experience: Minimum of seven years’ experience with product development & sustaining, directly related to complex electro-mechanical systems / precision automated equipment; proven leadership skills. Knowledge and understanding of project monitoring and reporting systems. Experience managing cross-functional teams. Experience in a global manufacturing organization is helpful. Experience working directly with large industry customers. •Skill Requirements: Matrix organization management skills. Excellent time management and planning skills. Strong organizational skills. Diplomatic, patience and good listening skills. Creative, innovative, out of the box problem solving. •Technical Requirements: Knowledge of semiconductor packages / processes and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of automation with strong understanding of mechatronics and electro-pneumatic applications. Familiar with different statistics and quality tools (DFMEA, DOE, and risk assessment). •Job Conditions / Physical Demands: Domestic and international travel required. May work in lab environment with constant or intermittent noise. Prolonged periods of sitting at the computer terminal.
