Job summary: Responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff performance, ensuring compliance, optimizing processes, monitoring budgets, and collaborating across departments to maintain efficiency and address operational issues. Key responsibilities: • Oversee the day-to-day business operations, ensure product availability meet sales and launch plans and seamless support for the business growth objectives in Malaysia. • Lead, manage and develop the Malaysia operations team, fostering robust team cohesion, delivering constructive feedback & support, nurturing a collaborative and efficient work culture. • Proficient in the end-to-end business operations processes and systems, with practical experience in operational tasks and the ability to ensure Operations’ team roles and responsibilities are met. • Familiar with the relevant customs regulations and free trade agreements, ensuring operational activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements, and leveraging tariff benefits for competitive advantage. • Establish partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet business targets. Facilitate effective communication & coordination internally and externally at different levels to achieve operational objectives. • Manage 3PL service providers, ensure efficient logistics and distribution aligned with business needs and service standards meet regional expectations. • Manage inventory integrity through daily, weekly, monthly reconciliations ensuring ERP and supplier system alignment. • Identify issues and potential risks, devise innovative solutions, and execute efficient problem-solving tactics to address operational challenges. • Track and review operational metrics to meet set key performance indicators, evaluate performance and identify areas of improvement. • Drive operational excellence and operations efficiency including operational process execution and project implementation, in accordance with regional directives. • Engage in budgeting and forecasting, ensure logistics & distribution costs stay within budgetary limits. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to reduce costs. Skills/Qualifications: Degree, preferably in Supply Chain/Logistics/Operations or equivalent Preferably 5-7 years of relevant work experience in business operations, supply chain or related Proven leadership and managerial skills Proficiency in MS Excel and using relevant software/tools for operations management Strong knowledge of regional customs rules and regulations Good communication and interpersonal skills Strong planning, organizing and problem-solving skills
