CNC TECHNICAL PROGRAMMER

CTI INTERNATIONAL (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. seeks a CNC TECHNICAL PROGRAMMER to help design test our planned upcoming projects with crate dependable, hardworking products benefitting out company’s name Job Description: • CNC Program Readiness  CNC Programs & Setup sheets are released on-time  Manufacturing fixtures Programs and Setup sheets are released on-time  Cutters and relevant tooling are coordinated to be ordered on-time and impacted manufacturing operation sequence is communicated to be scheduled accordingly  Dimensional layouts, manufacturing reference drawings, MIP(s) and any other relevant documents needed for successful manufacturing are released on-time • Accountable for CHawk site transfers of CNC Programs and CNC Machining BKM’s • Accountable for CNC Programming Standardization with US/SG BKM’s • Responsible for reviewing Job Traveler’s after programming is complete to ensure it contains the appropriate operation seq to manufacture the part successfully. • NCR’s are disposition timely  PIC for CNC Programming root cause analysis, preventive/corrective actions  Implementation of preventive/corrective actions through CTI-MY documentation standards and training. • Scrap/Rework cost control incurred from CNC programming/Tooling design issues • Accountable for assisting Quote Engineers with new RFQ’s by providing relevant information such as programming/machining times, material blank sizes and yield. • Cycle time/Quality improvements  Coordinate with Quality Dept for process qualifications • Accountable for coordinating employee performance review monthly and address/implement intervention measures, if needed, to correct the issue with each employee • Mentorship to developing production leadership personnel and skill building to enable technical manufacturing capabilities • Accountable for building training matrix and implementation • Enforce company policies and procedures and ensure the production environment is safe for employees at all times. • Create/Generate accurate part geometry, programs and setup sheets. • Review and validating that the blue prints are legitimate and contains all required information to successfully manufacture the part. • Assist with solving problems related to blueprint error, job traveler error, setup error, machine error, tooling issues, yield, etc. • Review machining processes to determine the best available method to fabricate parts with the most optimum program, setup and machine efficiency • Generate ideas to help with process improvements, machine improvement, factory flow, throughput, safety, material cost saving, etc. Required Skills: The required skills for the position CNC TECHNICAL PROGRAMMER are as follow: • Minimum 5 years’ experience in CNC programming and troubleshooting is necessary. • Good analytical skills • Good arbitrary power and good organizational skills • Ability to motivate the employees and take responsibility for the operations • Team player and possess some organizational leadership skills • Good knowledge about manufacturing, quality and some cost control • Good communication, interpersonal and written communication skills. • Good experience in working with management to develop team • General Microsoft Office reporting skills. • Good knowledge in GD&T • Must possess related certification.
