1. Ensure compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA) 2. Assist the company in obtaining and maintaining necessary safety certifications and approvals. 3. Conduct site site inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identifications. 4. Recommend and enforce corrective actions for non-compliance and unsafe practices. 5. Conduct mandatory safety training sessions and toolbox talks for workers and subcontractors. 6. Promote a safety first culture among employees. 7. Investigate and report workplace incidents and accidents to DOSH and management. 8. Prepare Incident Analysis and recommend preventive measures. 9. Perform routine safety audits and monitor site compliance with safety regulations. 10. Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). 11. Develop and maintain emergency response plans in alignment with legal and site-specific requirements. 12. Conduct periodic emergency drills. 13. Maintain and update safety records, including site audits, incidents, and training logs. 14. Submit statutory reports as required by DOSH or other authorities. Job Requirement: 1. Certified Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with a valid Green Book (is a MUST) issued by DOSH Malaysia. 2. Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field 3. At least 3–5 years of experience in a road construction or similar industry. 4. Strong understanding of construction site operations and hazards. 5. Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety. 6. Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics. 7. Candidate must have ability to maintain effective work relationships and good organization skills. 8. Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management. 9. Preferably local Sabahan. 10. Location : Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
