M&E Engineer

Responsible for the Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) repairs and maintenance (i.e. routine and periodical) of the highway, assets and buildings as well as a pump house to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operations in line to the guidelines of Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (LLM). 2) To fulfil the obligation in the Concession Agreement (CA) and Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (LLM) regulations. 3) To ensure the entire LLB’s assets (M&E) are in good condition/functioning. 4) To identify the defect of the LLB’s assets (M&E), diagnose the faults, prepare the report and propose the rectification work. 5) Prepare the tender document, detailed drawings, bill of quantities, method statement, cost estimation/comparison etc. for repairing/rectification work to the damaged LLB’s assets. Conduct the technical evaluation for the submitted tender documents. 6) Request quotations for any M&E rectification works required. Conduct the technical evaluation for the submitted quotations. 7) Prepare the Instruction To Contractor/Work Order to the appointed contractor. 8) Prepare payment certificates for contractors’ claims based on work done and invoices received. 9) To check and update all M&E maintenance status in the LLM maintenance report system (i.e. EPI). 10) Responsible for Roadside Development (Pembangunan Tepi Lebuhraya – PTL) for technical comments related to LLB’s M&E assets.
