Get to know the Role: We are currently seeking a passionate, experienced Instructional Designer who can create, deliver, and oversee educational materials for employee growth or career development. The candidate must have a foundational understanding of instructional design models that produce impactful, measurable results, such as increased employee engagement and improved retention. They must also be able to foster a collaborative, productive learning environment that captures the audience’s attention and helps them meet their development end goals The day-to-day activities: Design and develop immersive educational experiences tailored to the unique needs and challenges of the Grab Sales team. Regularly assess the progress of participants in these educational experiences. This could involve tracking their performance, gathering feedback, and making necessary adjustments to the content to better align with their needs. Use core instructional design principles and theories to maximize engaging learning experience. Develop interactive activities and educational resources that are relevant to the Grab Sales team. Maintain projects and organize course documents, to keep all course materials organized and easily accessible. Collaborate with subject matter experts within Grab and experienced members of the Grab Sales teams to ensure that the lessons are accurate, relevant, and up-to-date. The must haves: 4+ years of experience with In-depth understanding of instructional design models and learning theories Ability to navigate learning management systems such as Seismic Learn (lessonly), Cornerstone or Mindtickle Proficiency in course development software such as Articulate 360, Storyline, Lectora, etc Clear and effective curriculum-planning skills Basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to work cross-functionally with Business, Sales team and subject matter experts. Strong project management skills Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong orientation to detail Passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact
