Your role at Xevera: We are seeking a highly skilled AFC Monitoring Specialist to join our Partnership Product team. This role involves monitoring, investigating, and managing suspicious and fraudulent activities from partners and clients throughout their acquisition process and during ongoing cooperation. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining a secure environment by identifying high-risk partners and clients, developing strategies to prevent fraudulent activities, and minimizing potential company losses. This position is suited for an expert with substantial experience in the financial trading industry and a deep understanding of global anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, which requires familiarity with international financial markets beyond local Malaysian contexts. You will: - Fraud Case Management: Oversee the management of fraud cases involving suspicious affiliates, including detection, analysis, resolution, communication, and post-incident monitoring. - System Analysis: Gather and assess data to identify potential system vulnerabilities and develop preventive measures against abuse and fraud. - Data Analysis: Analyze extensive datasets to uncover irregular affiliate activity patterns and anomalous behaviors, using advanced data analysis techniques. - Documentation: Create detailed documentation of case management processes for various types of fraud, ensuring compliance with industry standards. - Model Development: Contribute to the development of new fraud detection models and continuously enhance existing models, leveraging machine learning algorithms where applicable. - Financial Risk Analysis: Utilize digital tools, specialized software, and programming languages to conduct in-depth analysis of financial risks, delivering insights to inform business decisions. - AML Strategy Development: Formulate and implement robust strategies to ensure adherence to global anti-money laundering laws, taking into account the complexities of cross-border transactions. - Regulatory Collaboration: Work closely with international auditors and regulatory bodies to minimize the organization’s exposure to money laundering risks. - Reporting: Prepare and submit timely reports and maintain meticulous records of all suspicious activities and transactions for internal and external audits.
