Key Responsibilities: • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions. • Prepare full sets of accounts, including trial balance, bank reconciliation, balance sheet, Statement of Profit & Loss, and financial statements. • Monitor the company’s daily cash position and ensure liquidity management. • Ensure timely and accurate billing to customers, ensuring no discrepancies. • Regularly follow up on customer collections and maintain updated Statements of Accounts. • Coordinate and perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing procedures for management accounts. • Verify and ensure accurate bookkeeping and data entry within accounting software. • Maintain organized records for all accounting documents and ensure compliance with filing systems. • Ensure all financial statements adhere to accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal company policies. • Prepare and manage forecast and budget reports to assist in financial planning. • Reconcile accounts including payables, receivables, bank accounts, and inter-company balances. • Liaise with tax agents, auditors, banks, company secretaries, government bodies, and suppliers to facilitate compliance and financial processes. • Assist with other ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned by management. Requirements: • Possess a Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in a finance/accounting role. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work well within a team. • Proficient in computer usage and fluent in both Bahasa Malaysia and English. • Familiarity with UBS accounting software is preferred. • Ability to work independently with excellent problem-solving skills. • Basic knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS). • Background in auditing will be considered an advantage.
