Accounts Cum Purchasing Officer (Based In Tawau) Requirement: • Diploma, Degree in Purchasing and Supply, Accounting or its equivalent • Minimum of experience 3 years in a similar position • Strong organization skills and high level of responsibility • Able to work with tight deadline • Well organized • Good communication and interpersonal skills Description: • Responsible in sourcing suppliers and purchasing of spare parts, consumable locally in Tawau. • Responsible in getting quotation from the relevant suppliers and submit to the management for approval before purchasing is done. In the event that the parts are required very urgently to rectify problem that would result in loss of production, major deterioration in treated water quality, and major adverse effect to the health and safety of the treatment plant personnel if the problem remains unsolved, spare parts could be purchased immediately with the approval from the plant manager. • Follow-up coordinate with local suppliers for delivery of purchased items. • Coordinate closely with the storekeeper in issuing purchasing request. • Submit all invoices to KKHQ regularly to process the payment claim. • Responsible to keep the petty cash for sundry purchases. The cash flow account is properly recorded and up to date. • Responsible to keep the company cheque books in safe place. • Prepare petty cash, allowance claim, cash reimbursement, and wages and advances distribution to the daily rated workers. • Assist the plant manager in day to day running of Utara Plant office. • To perform other task as instructed by the management from time to time.
