- ASST. RESTAURANT MANAGER is to assist the Outlet In-Charge in overall operations of the restaurant which includes handling of repair & maintenance of restaurant equipment, scheduling of manpower resources, ordering stocks, preparing reports, etc.
- He is to also support the execution of marketing plans to bring sales and assist in controlling outlet expanses. On top of that, he shall assist to recruit, lead and develop people in ensuring work performance and productivity.
- He is to provide direction, monitor and guide the staff on duty through their daily routines to ensure the team perform efficiently and productively.
- He is to also interact with guests and handling guest enquiries to make sure the guests have a satisfactory dining experience.
- This role requires the incumbent to understand the duties and responsibilities of all staff on duty to ensure they perform according to the established guidelines and standards.
- Candidate must possess at least a Secondary School qualification with relevant working experience in restaurant or F&B industry.
- Possess sound knowledge of restaurant functions including cost management, customer handling, purchasing, manpower planning, people management, workplace safety & security and record-keeping.
- Ability to handle a wide range of activities, identify issues and recommend proper solutions to restaurant problems.
- Enjoy interacting with people and possess excellent interpersonal skills to maintain good relationships with staff and customer.
- Self-disciplined, self-motivated, enthusiastic in learning and keen in getting feedback for improvement.
- Always maintain high standard of personal hygiene, neatly attired and professionally groomed.
- Required to work on rotating shift basis which include weekends and public holidays.
