Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay updated with the latest trend, methods, workflows, source and technologies in fraud detection and prevention
  • Review, examine and analyze complex data to identify signals, patterns and inconsistencies that suggest fraud.
  • Understand and analyze the typical behavior of users to detect deviation that might indicate fraud
  • Identify root causes and find complementary solutions that will help mitigate and and prevent fraudulent activities
  • Review, identify and analyze activities, connections and relationships between entities to spot anomalies and detect fraudulent actions and networks
  • Gather information and evidence from multiple sources, document investigation and findings comprehensively, and create models and update existing ones to tackle ever changing fraud vectors
  • Maintain high levels of confidentiality while performing investigations
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, proactive report of system or policy loopholes, work with internal to enhance fraud prevention measure and fraud detection capabilities
  • Ensure that fraud detection measures comply with relevant laws and regulations
  • Provide structured feedback and recommendations for process improvement on an ongoing basis

Qualification & Skills Required:

  • Experience: preferably with 2 years of working experience in related fields. However, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Education:minimum diploma, preferably with a college degree

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and complex cases in high volume queues
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to adverse situations
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to detect vulnerabilities in existing and new products and features and anticipate the ever-evolving fraudulent behaviors
  • Ability to remove personal bias to focus on fact-based investigations and remain impartial in sensitive situation involving users
  • Ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns and draw conclusions and give suggestions
  • Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Organized, analytical and meticulous attention to details to spot anomalies and discrepancies
  • Strong critical thinking, great judgment & decision-making skills
  • Strong investigative ability, due diligence, internet research skills
  • Logical thinking, excellent judgment and ability to make quick accurate decisions
  • Familiar with Google Workspace products (Google Sheet/ Slides/ Doc, etc.)
  • Flexibility: Able to work on shift, early morning, evenings, weekends and public holidays
