Responsibilities: 1. Consults and resolves customer queries or complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management. Follow through the completion of issues raised with the respective departments or person in charge. 2. Develop/ Search for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximize client potential in designated regions. 3. Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements. This includes making contacts with existing customers, replacements personnel taking over the positions or transferred to new role/locations. 4. Persuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their need in terms of quality, price and delivery. 5. To prepare/make/assist technical presentations (sometimes tailored to discuss specific items) and demonstrate how a product meets client needs. 6. Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education. 7. Work on after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required. 8. Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly /monthly work plans and monitoring and annual territory analyses. 9. Meet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projects (internal/external). 10. Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events. 11. Liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts regarding changes of product design, order progress, stock in-house, etc. 12. Proposes improved materials or products to customer and explained benefit of changes. 13. Monitors competition by gathering current market place information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedule and merchandising techniques. Keep the management informed on the information gathered. 14. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 15. Advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions. 16. Review own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets (individual/regional), gaining a clear understanding of customers businesses and requirements. Requirement: 1. Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in engineering, marketing, promotions, advertising sales or business administration preferred. 2. Minimum 3 years of industry sales experience, ideally within oil and gas industry. 3. Previous experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales. 4. Excellent written and oral communication skills. 5. Creativity to approach sales and build customer relationships in groundbreaking new ways. Good interpersonal skills to maintain existing and develop new customer as best it could. 6. Excellent sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences. 7. Negotiation and social problem-solving skills. 8. Willing to travel 9.
