Network and Windows AD Architect
Location: Remote (Working in US Time Zone)
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the China-based team to gather requirements, align on designs, and address miscommunications due to language barriers.
Design, implement, and optimize a business-grade network infrastructure, addressing issues such as the absence of a DHCP server and Active Directory integration.
Manage and troubleshoot an environment comprising Cisco networking devices and Linux servers while ensuring high availability and performance.
Provide additional support to manage a large-scale infrastructure currently handled by a single resource.
Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of the network and Windows AD environment.
Proactively resolve delays caused by time zone differences through effective planning and communication.
Troubleshoot and resolve networking, Windows, and Linux server-related issues, minimizing downtime and improving overall system performance.
Maintain clear communication and collaboration with the China-based team to align on project objectives and deliverables
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Language Proficiency: Fluency in Mandarin and English to effectively communicate with the China-based team.
8+ years of experience in networking and Windows Active Directory architecture and administration
Hands-on experience with Cisco networking devices, including configuration and troubleshooting.
Expertise in Linux server environments, including setup, management, and integration with other systems.
Proven expertise in network design, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Hands-on experience with DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory in enterprise-grade environments
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of network protocols, architecture, and infrastructure management.
Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Windows AD, GPOs, and identity management.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies and hybrid/cloud environments is a plus
