About the role

We are seeking an experienced Outlet Manager or Assistant Outlet Manager to join our dynamic retail team at Suria Jerai Electrical Sdn Bhd. This is a full-time position based in Penang and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of one of our retail outlets.

What you'll be doing:-

  • Overseeing all aspects of retail store operations, including staff management, inventory control, customer service, and sales targets.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve store performance, increase revenue, and enhance the customer experience.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant industry regulations.
  • Providing coaching and training to store personnel to enhance their skills and drive team performance.
  • Analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions to optimize store operations.
  • Collaborating with the head office team on various projects and initiatives.
  • Maintaining a safe and organised work environment for both customers and employees.

What we're looking for:-

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a retail management or assistant management role, preferably in the electrical or consumer goods industry.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in inventory management, sales forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Familiarity with retail technology, such as point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
