Human Resources tasks

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, interviews, and hiring decisions.
  • Facilitate onboarding for new staff and offboarding for departing employees.
  • Maintain employee records, including attendance, leave balances, and performance evaluations.
  • Support performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution to foster a positive work environment.
  • Develop and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and official HR communications, such as memos, public holiday notices, and company announcements.
  • Prepare official letters, such as employment offers, confirmations, and promotions.
  • Process monthly payroll, including attendance tracking, leave records, and overtime submissions.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.

    Administrative tasks

    • Ensure seamless office operations, including procurement and inventory management.
    • Ensure cinema facilities, equipment, and supplies are maintained, and handle any required procurement.
    • Prepare and organize official documents and correspondence.
    • Handle permit and license renewals with relevant authorities.
    • Maintain accurate records of employee data, leave balances, and related documentation.
    • Draft memos, announcements, and meeting minutes, maintaining clear communication between departments.
    • Conduct periodic asset inventory to ensure all cinema equipment and supplies are accounted for.

      Additional Responsibilities

      • Undertake ad-hoc assignments and tasks as directed by the manager.
      • Provide support for cross-functional team requirements.

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Administrative, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in HR & Admin. (Fresh graduates are welcome).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and payroll software (SQL).
  • Strong communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. (Speak, write and read)
