Accounts Payable:

  • Verify and process vendor invoices related to logistics services (e.g., freight, transportation, warehousing).
  • Prepare payments to vendors (e.g., shipping carriers, suppliers, service providers) and ensure timely disbursement.
  • Maintain and update accounts payable records, ensuring timely settlement of outstanding balances for logistics services.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts payable with vendor statements and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Make payments through various methods (e.g., bank transfer, cheque) in alignment with cash flow and logistics budget.

Accounts Receivable:

  • Monitor and track accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments for services provided.
  • Follow up on overdue invoices, sending reminders and negotiating payment terms with clients.
  • Record customer payments and reconcile them with corresponding invoices.
  • Cost Reporting & Documentation:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for management, including variance analysis.
  • Maintain detailed records of costs related to transportation, warehousing, and other logistics services.
  • Diploma or Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin is a bonus.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and spoken).
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience in accounting or finance, with a preference for experience in a logistics company.
