FULL JOB DESCRIPTION The Estate Manager will oversee all aspects of the management and maintenance of a private estate. This position involves managing both the operational and financial aspects of the property while ensuring it meets the highest standards of cleanliness, security and functionality. KEY ACTIVITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Monitor all estate operations and manage the estate as a profitable unit. 2. Ensure that operational processes follow the SOPs. 3. Manage estate operations effectively and profitably. 4. Undertake field inspections to ensure that all approved daily programs are implemented as planned. 5. Coordinate, monitor, and manage the job functions of all workers, staff, and executives to ensure that the estate's key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved. 6. Ensure there are no major outbreaks of pests or diseases and that records are kept up to date. 7. Ensure that manuring is carried out as per recommendations and that records are maintained accordingly. 8. Prepare and monitor the estate's annual budget. 9. Manage costs effectively and within the approved limits. 10. Achieve good replanting standards and PMU ratings. 11. Ensure good quality parameters are achieved at all times. 12. Strictly adhere to MSPO and any governance requirements. 13. Maintain harmonious interaction between management and employees. 14. Adopt new innovations to ensure high productivity and lower costs. 15. Maintain a well-kept housing complex and estate facilities. 16. Achieve good ratings in all audits. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Have at least a Diploma in agricultural studies or a related field from a recognized university; or 2. Have SPM with at least 3 years of work experience in the plantation/agricultural sector; or 3. Have sufficient experience in plantation/agriculture operations, which is deemed as adequate by the management/ senior officials 4. Organized, pragmatic, proactive, and result-oriented. 5. Ability to work independently while maintaining strong team spirit. 6. Excellent communication and social skills. 7. Potential to progress to a higher responsibility position. 8. Ability to live in a remote environment. 9. Must possess a valid D driving license. 10. Possession of a B2 driving license is an added advantage.
