PROJECT MANAGER

To formalize a project organization and assist in recruit project team member To plan, develop and execute new projects to set up new palm oil refinery / palm oil mill / plant upgrading in Sarawak from all aspect from project planning, scheduling, budget costing estimation as well as job delegation among subordinates. To ensure progress of work in accordance with pre-planned schedule and conduct costing monitoring with relevant financial controlling parties. To liaise with local authority for relevant approval, legal obligation and law to compliance with, includes tax exemption for new project To ensure sufficient & efficient work force for the department by continuous training and guidance activities. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. Min 10 years experiences in project management in similar industries, oleo chemical, palm oil refinery. Independent, resourceful and able to take pressure under fast-paced work environment. Strong interpersonal skill, leadership, and analytical skills to identify and solve problems effectively. -To participate on “Kick Off Meeting” internally or externally and distribute contractual document, project schedule c/w shipment duration, soil report, water quality report etc. -To assist PM to monitor site team for site management and safety committee and to be assigned as SSS. -To attend internal weekly site meeting and client’s meeting. -To prepare monthly progress claim and verify with client’s representative. -Remind and check on any outstanding matters status with sub-contractors and customer’s representative and follow up customer complaints. -To assist on Testing & Commissioning programmes. -To organize site documentation as required to suit to ISO requirement. -Any other jobs assigned by superior when necessary.
