Job Summary: The Delivery Clerk in the printing and adhesive label industry is responsible for ensuring that products are accurately prepared, packaged, and delivered to customers in a timely manner. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to manage delivery schedules while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Key Responsibilities: Order Fulfillment & Packing: Prepare and verify customer orders for shipment, ensuring the correct quantity and type of adhesive labels are packed. Organize products in a safe and secure manner to prevent damage during transportation. Ensure all necessary paperwork (invoices, packing slips, etc.) accompanies the orders. Delivery Coordination: Plan and coordinate daily delivery routes, ensuring timely delivery to customers. Operate company vehicles (trucks/vans) to deliver finished goods to clients, distributors, or other locations as required. Communicate with customers about delivery schedules and any changes or delays. Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control by maintaining accurate records of stock levels and delivery schedules. Ensure the correct labeling of products for delivery and ensure inventory is kept up-to-date. Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by answering delivery-related inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction with deliveries. Handle minor customer complaints or delivery issues, escalating complex matters to supervisors. Maintenance & Safety: Maintain cleanliness and functionality of delivery vehicles and warehouse areas. Adhere to safety standards during the loading, unloading, and transportation of products. Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation and delivery regulations. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate delivery records, including tracking numbers, customer signatures, and delivery confirmations. Report any delivery discrepancies (damages, shortages, etc.) to management for resolution. Skills and Qualifications: Experience: Prior experience in a delivery role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment, is preferred. Knowledge: Familiarity with basic packaging and shipping procedures, including handling of adhesive products and labels. Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and customer service orientation.
