JOB DESCRIPTIONS: 1. To plan, organise and monitor employment activities and coordinate with line departments regarding manpower requirements. 2. To prepare/draft the recruitment interviews and to recommend suitable candidates for line department consideration In accordance with job specifications and hotel personnel policies and manpower budgets. 3. To liaise with line departments for effective and fair implementation of internal staff movements i.e. promotion, transfer and termination in consultation with the Human Resource Manager 4. To assist in counseling employees with problems or dissatisfactory performance reports or grievances and to ensure consistent and fair execution of disciplinary action in the hotel. 5. To assist and ensure that all periodic performance appraisals of employees truly reflect the performance of employee at that particular period and that the performance standards are clearly communicated to the employee. 6. To prepare and submit periodic or monthly reports related to staff turnover, movement and training. 7. To maintain effective personnel and training needs system to enable immediate retrieval of all personnel and training information when needed. 8. To assist in the review and update of personnel policies and employee benefit packages to suit current needs. 9. To be involved in assessing the training needs and requirements of departments in the hotel. 10. To assist in planning, organising, implementing and evaluating internal and external training, education and development programmes. 11. Network with local educational institutes or catering related establishment to explore opportunities for industrial training or recruitment . Responsible for overall industrial training administration and trainees activities. 12. Network with competitor counterparts to exchange information and experiences. 13. Oversee departmental operations and decision making on the absence of the Human Resource Manager 14. Any other duties that maybe assigned to you from time to time / or as and when required.
