JOB DUTIES a) Attend telephone calls, provide reception service and assist patients in any enquiries in a courteous and professional manner. b) Report to work station according to schedule with high standard of personal appearance and hygienic with clean and pressed uniform and badges. c) Attend and handle all clerical and documentation aspects to expedite patient’s registration and payment. d) To ensure all entries of patient related data or charges with accuracy and efficiency. ** e) To handover cash float log book and update report to each shift duty. f) To completed past over and hand over admission, discharge and outpatient cases on every shift with or within the section. g) Entries and verified all patient charges and compile doctors voucher without omission or late charges. h) To post all collection in HIS with the correct amount, patient name, bank code(if any), credit card type and number (if any), and etc. i) To balance daily total collection amount as per cashier counter collection report printed. j) To collect patient Medical Record from Medical Record Department during working hours. k) To initiate action for improvement in billing or patient handling processes. l) Any other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time.
