About the role…

ALP, an innovative firm specializing in logistics property development, is seeking a Senior Facilities Executive to optimize the efficiency of services for our newly established warehouse located in the Klang Area.

Working closely with the Facility Manager, the Senior Facilities Executive will play a pivotal role in executing facility-related projects, addressing tenant needs, and ensuring the operational excellence of ALP’s properties.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, managing multiple stakeholders and ensuring seamless facility operations to support the company’s growth and tenant needs.

What You Will Do…

  • Measure tenant satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for service improvements to enhance the overall tenant experience.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse facilities, ensuring compliance with legal, health, and safety standards.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of physical assets and ensure efficient management and utilization of these assets.
  • Implement and manage risk mitigation strategies to minimize operational disruptions and ensure business continuity.
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination between departments, and liaise with contractors, vendors, suppliers, and tenants for smooth operations.
  • Engage with local authorities, including MPK, TNB, Syabas, Bomba, Pejabat Tanah, and OSHA, to ensure compliance with regulations and timely resolutions of any facility-related issues.
  • Coordinate daily operations with the outsourced building management team to ensure efficient facility functioning.
  • Attend and manage tenant fit-out requirements and facilities-related meetings to address concerns and provide solutions.
  • Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the manager to meet business objectives.

  • Proactive, with a strong sense of responsibility and dependability, capable of anticipating issues and solving them efficiently.

What skills are required…

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in facilities or building management, with a preference for experience in the commercial or warehouse industry.
  • Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, with strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to manage and complete projects or tasks independently, with accurate and timely reporting to management.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including standard Microsoft Office applications(MS 365, Teams, Outlook, etc.); familiarity with project management software is a plus.
