Tasks & responsibilities

To assist and report to chargeman, Building Executive/ Manager.
To ensure daily M & E installation is working in order and carry out periodic testing of the equipment i.e. A/C system, Fireman Intercom, CCTV etc.
To ensure servicing contractor carry out proper maintenance and check on their servicing works.
To submit report sheet and servicing report to superior and highlight on urgent matters.
To ensure all M & E system equipment and room are clean and tidy.
To carry out minor repair works and to report to superior for approval of any major repair/replacement before commencement of works.
To assist the chargeman in his daily duties.
To check and report on the daily operation of all M & E system. A/C systems, Fire Fighting system panels, lift control panels and etc.
To ensure cleanliness and tidiness of all the M & E system and rooms.
Replacement of fused fluorescent tubes, light bulbs, electrical accessories and carry out minor wiring jobs.
To ensure safety equipment in electrical rooms and Fire Fighting equipment are in order and familiarize with safety procedures.
To ensure all M & E system equipment and rooms are clean and tidy.
To check, test run, lubricate all M & E equipment i.e. pumps, fire alarm, ventilation fan battery charger etc. and to report of any defects to superior.
To ensure corrective and preventive maintenance is carried out regularly and to submit report sheets regularly to superior and highlight any urgent matters.

Qualifications & experience

Language(s) Required: Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia
Minimum of 1 years of experience in building management or facility operations.
Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience working with diverse tenant populations and addressing their needs.
