  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.

Description :

JOB PURPOSE

• Perform Solaris/Linux system administration for Maybank Unix Solaris/Linux servers to ensure system is always available and running healthy for Maybank systems. The job scope covers (but not limited to) are hardware, software & operating system installation, OS configuration, OS patching, system logs analysis, system troubleshooting and problem resolution.

Principal Accountabilities: Solaris & Linux systems administration.

Supporting Activities :

• System health checks to ensure that Solaris / Linux systems are healthy.

• Troubleshoot problems to minimize outages.

• Build and install new Solaris / Linux systems.

• Solaris / Linux systems configuration changes and upgrades.

• Identify any potential opportunities for further improvement /system enhancement.

• Solaris / Linux performance tuning and analysis.

• OS patching and upgrade.

Outcome/ deliverables:

• Prevent system outages.

• Meeting prescribed SLA

EXPERIENCE:

• Oracle Solaris and Linux O/S skills.

• Systems Capacity Planning experience

• Knowledge in SAN environments and various storage management systems such as Veritas NetBackup and EMC storage.

• Experienced in supporting SSH, SUDO, SMARTS, ZENA and XCOM.

CERTIFICATIONS/REGULATORY CERTIFICATIONS

Preferably to have any professional certification related to Solaris and/or Linux. E.g

• Oracle Certified Associate, Oracle Solaris 11 System Administrator

• Oracle Certified Professional, Oracle Solaris 11 System Administrator

• Oracle Solaris 11 Installation and Configuration Certified Implementation Specialist

• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)

• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)

• Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC)

JOB SPECIFIC SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• Veritas InfoScale (formerly known as Veritas Cluster Server) software management.

• Solaris and Linux O/S hardening.

• LDOM setup and support.

• OS patching

• Container setup and support.

• Tripwire and Splunk software knowledge will be an added advantage.

• Computer network.

• Shell (e.g bash, korn) scripting

• Skillset with automation tools like Ansible or Terraform will be added advantage.
