Special Project Engineer

Required skill and experience : 1. Experience in project management, PPAP, DFM, FMEA and DoE in product/process improvement 2. Experience in CAD/CAM softwares such as SolidWorks/SolidEgde/Mastercam/Hypermill etc. 3. Analytical and problem solving skills, strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities as follows but not limited to : 1 Report to immediate superior & Department Head. 2 Generate first article for customer qualification before mass production run. 3 Prepare project gantt and setup cross function project team. 4 Lead and manage project team to ensure timely implementation of First Article project. 5 Review customer drawings, bill of materials and specification. 6 Conduct DFM, process capability study for product design and requirement. 7 Develop process flow, bill of material and process drawing for new product. 8 Review product drawing and development/process drawing. 9 Develop packaging standard and instruction for the product 10 Assist in client contact and communication pertaining to project. 11 Lead to resolve any technical issues arise during product sample preparation stage. 12 Develop, analyze, and record permanent solution for any problem encountered during project implementation 13 Prepare, coordinate & conduct post project review. 14 Design and develop new jig and fixture for new product and process improvement. 15 Cost reduction through alternate material or manufacturing processes. 16 Assist in product costing and quotation preparation. 17 Technical support and training to others. 18 Maintain good house keeping and 5's. 19 Maintain consistent application of company policies, procedures and shop floor rules. 20 Adhere to all application Occupational Safety and health laws and regulation as will as such standards, practices and procedures instituted by the Company. 21 Any other responsibility which may be assigned form time to time by Department Head.
