  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  3. Click Privacy and Security.

  5. Click JavaScript.

Your primary responsibility will be to assess project requirements, prepare quantity takeoffs, and estimate the costs of materials, labor, and equipment needed for each project.

  • Conduct thorough analysis of project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to understand the scope of work and project requirements.
  • Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment required for interior design projects.
  • Prepare quotations for customers.
  • Collaborate with the design team to identify and evaluate cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
  • Research and source materials, equipment, and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Review and analyze supplier/subcontractor quotations, negotiate pricing, and make recommendations to the project team.
  • Create and maintain accurate project budgets, monitoring costs throughout the project lifecycle, and providing regular cost reports to stakeholders.
  • Maintain up-to-date cost control of project variations (VO).
  • Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, validate quantities, and address any cost-related issues.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quantity surveying and interior design.
  • Ad hoc task requested by management on site supervision.
