- Receiving direct communications relating to quality problems from customer, purchasing, engineering, quality, customer service and sales personnel.
- Reviewing and initiating RMA, RTV and Nonconformance Reports.
- Implementing and assuring proper corrective action.
- Implementing and assuring proper material dispositions and initiating material review board actions if necessary.
- Requesting Design for Manufacturing from Engineering dept. if necessary to advice customer for complicated quality issue.
- Responsible for creation and handling of Non-Conformance Reports, Disposition of Nonconformance Materials/Products/Parts and Recording Cost or Poor Quality.
- Initiation of Quality Caution Cards, Product Deviations or SA. Follow up with customers to ensure acceptance/approval of Product Deviations or SA is given.
- Administering necessary follow up on historical problems. Notifying management of critical problem areas.
- Initiate CAR's and 8D's to supplier if quality issue is caused by their component or process and ensure for its completion.
- Handle customer complaints; provide timely response with effective preventive actions.
- Liaise with customers pertaining to quality / environmental audits.
- Spearhead quality improvement projects when required.
- Work with Engineering and Prod. Process team to define process parameters and criteria to ensure internal process capability is effective to meet product requirements
- Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions of customer quality issues.
- Facilitate the escalation of unresolved internal quality issues within assigned projects and suppliers.
- Support the Quality Manager to monitor and report on supplier product quality and performance.
- Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in order to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process or system.
- Understands the customer requirements, business environment and current issues.
- Support in PPAP's, Control Plans, Process Capabilities Studies, GR&R and FMEA as part of APQP's processes.
- Conduct training of quality awareness.
- Perform any other tasks as requested by the superior.
- Min. Diploma in Quality / Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering
- Able to Speak and Write in English/Bahasa Malaysia
- Fresh graduate are welcome to apply
- At least 1 ~ 2 years of working experiences in relevant industry
- Able to read engineering drawing
- Prior knowledge on measurement tools such as smart-scope and CMM is preferred.
