The role is responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning and investment advisory services to high-net-worth customer. This role requires a deep understanding of Islamic finance, investment products, and client needs to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive engagement, regular communication, and exceptional service delivery.
- Understand and assess client financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment objectives.
- Provide personalized financial planning advice, including wealth accumulation, retirement planning, estate planning, and tax optimization.
- Educate clients on Islamic finance principles and the features and benefits of Shariah-compliant investment products.
- Analyze and recommend suitable Shariah-compliant investment portfolios, including:
- Equity funds
- Sukuk (Islamic bonds)
- Unit trusts
- Gold and other Shariah-compliant commodities
- Takaful
- Monitor client portfolios and provide regular performance reviews and rebalancing recommendations.
- Advise clients on investment strategies to maximize returns while mitigating risks.

- Maintain a deep understanding of the bank's full range of Shariah-compliant wealth management products and services.
- Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and Shariah rulings related to Islamic finance.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and client introductions.
- Contribute to the growth of the wealth management business by achieving sales targets and expanding client base.
- Ensure all activities comply with Islamic finance principles, regulatory requirements, and internal bank policies.
- Manage and mitigate risks associated with investment recommendations and client portfolios.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and transaction documentation.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Islamic Banking, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as CFA, CFP, or Islamic Finance certifications preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in wealth management, preferably in an Islamic banking environment.
- Strong understanding of Islamic finance principles, Shariah rulings, and investment products.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and investment analysis tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
