What you will do:

  • Responsible for day-to-day accounting transactions of the company including billings to customers
  • Monitor and follow up accounts receivables
  • Process payments and managing vendors enquiries
  • Prepare full set of accounts including AR, AP and GL
  • Prepare timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations (banks, intercompanies balances & etc)
  • Prepare and maintain balance sheet schedules and monthly management reports
  • Compile and submit quarterly GST (Singapore) and SST (Malaysia) returns
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax agent on annual audit and tax filings
  • Attend to merchants’, government and any other enquiries from third parties
  • Cashflow forecast for daily operations
  • Any other ad hoc duties as directed by the Company

Who we're looking for

  • Possess a Diploma or Degree in Finance / Accounting major or related 2-3 years experience in accounting, tax and audit
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. Able to speak and read Mandarin is also preferred as liaising with Taiwan stakeholders are required at times
  • Good working knowledge of IFRS and taxation laws in Singapore and Malaysia preferable
  • Experience in dealing with large volume of data and transactions
  • Analytical, proactive and independent
  • Meticulous, organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders in various offices
  • Honest and high level of integrity
  • Can-do attitude, driven and passionate about work
  • Open-minded, eager to learn and able to adapt to a fast-paced working environment
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel are desirable
