About the Role

The Assistant Manager, Corporate Strategy, will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company's long-term goals while contributing to the development and enhancement of corporate communications, branding, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. This multifaceted role requires strategic thinking, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to drive impactful outcomes, particularly in the social aspects of ESG.

Key Responsibilities

1. Corporate Strategy

  • Assist in the development and execution of the company's corporate strategy to achieve short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and industry trends.
  • Support the preparation of strategic presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor the performance of strategic initiatives and recommend adjustments as needed.

2. Corporate Communications

  • Develop and implement corporate communication strategies to enhance the company's visibility and reputation.
  • Create and manage content for internal and external communications, including press releases, newsletters, and executive messaging.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging across all communication channels.
  • Serve as a liaison between the company and external media or stakeholders as required.

3. Company Branding

  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to ensure cohesive and compelling branding across all platforms.
  • Support the development of brand guidelines and ensure adherence across departments.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance the company's brand positioning and identity within the industry.

4. ESG and Social Impact

  • Lead and manage ESG-related projects, with a strong emphasis on Social aspects, including diversity and inclusion, community engagement, and employee well-being programs.
  • Track and report on ESG performance metrics, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement impactful social initiatives.
  • Represent the company in external ESG forums and engagements as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Environmental Studies, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate strategy, communications, branding, or ESG project management.
  • Proven track record in managing cross-functional projects and driving measurable results.
  • Familiarity with ESG frameworks, reporting standards, and best practices.
