We are looking for a Finance & Accounts Manager on behalf of a client who will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, including preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. This role ensures compliance with financial regulations, analyzes financial performance, and collaborates with other departments to drive cost-saving initiatives and strategic planning. Strong leadership and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present accurate monthly financial statements, reports and forecasts to Top Management.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor annual budgets and financial plans.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger and Project ledger functions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments and reconciliations.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations especially on Services Tax, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing and Global Minimum Tax and timely submission of all tax returns for the company and expatriates.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.
  • Assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ensure internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to other departments.
  • Prepare Quarterly Financial Report for Group consolidation.
  • Manage treasury function and liaise with bankers on required facilities or bank queries.
  • Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounts for other subsidiaries, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Execute other ad-hoc task as when needed by the Company.


Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
  • A deep understanding of financial principles, budgeting with financial software is crucial.
  • Knowledge in XERO system will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi-functional tasks.
  • A high level of integrity and ethical conduct in handling accounting and financial and Services Tax, and Corporate Tax matters.
