About the Job
As a Product Innovation & Development Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, development, and execution of our product strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure that our products meet market demands and align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for creating innovative products.
Responsibilities
- Product Development: Develop & oversee the product innovation & development process for the product map that aligns with the company’s strategic goals and market needs.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth competitor analysis and market research to identify emerging trends, consumer insights, and competitive benchmarks. Leverage these insights to develop product concepts with clear unique selling points.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with, creative, marketing, sales and operations teams to ensure cohesive go-to market strategies, product positioning and alignment across all functions.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Support all stages of the product life cycle, including ideation, sourcing, budgeting and manufacturing, ensuring projects are delivered on time.
- External Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with international suppliers & manufacturers to establish product acceptance criteria and maintain high-quality standards for all products.
- Performance Analysis: Assist in monitoring and analyzing product performance, sales data, and customer feedback to provide actionable insights for product enhancements and future innovations.
- Trend monitoring: Stay ahead of industry developments, consumer behaviors and best practices to bring fresh ideas to the table for innovative product designs.
What You Need To Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Product Design or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in related fields.
- Experience in product innovation and development, preferably in the consumer goods or lifestyle industry.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for bringing innovative products to market.
- Proficiency in crafting and delivering professional presentations.
- A keen interest in lifestyle trends and a commitment to driving innovation in product development.
