Job Overview:
- We are looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic retail IT team at TIME. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our infrastructure, automation pipelines, and cloud-based environments. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth collaboration between development and operations, driving efficiency in software delivery, deployment, and maintenance.
- This role offers the opportunity to build scalable infrastructure from the ground up, ensuring seamless integration with our evolving middleware systems, payment gateway, and new digital identity platform. The DevOps Engineer will work closely with developers, QA teams, and product owners to build a high-performing, resilient, and secure platform.
Your work life:
- Infrastructure Management: Build, maintain, and enhance scalable cloud infrastructure.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Design and implement automated pipelines to accelerate software delivery.
- Monitoring & Performance: Set up monitoring tools, logging systems, and alerts to ensure uptime and performance.
- Automation & Scripting: Automate repetitive tasks and processes using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to streamline workflows.
- Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Incident Management: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues, minimizing downtime.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Manage and deploy containerized applications using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
To be considered, you’ll need:
- Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in a DevOps or related role, ideally in telecommunications, fintech, or software development environments.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Adaptable mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Certifications (Preferred):
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer.
