Job Summary:

The Compliance Manager will be responsible for monitoring and implementing updates to compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations. The role involves working closely with legal, risk, and business units to maintain and enhance the organization's compliance framework. This role supports Malaysia and Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and oversee compliance programs, policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and advise on compliance risks and necessary policy updates.
  • Serve as a point of contact internal stakeholders, and external auditors, and where required, applicable regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure regulatory measures are in place and effectively enforced.
  • Investigate and report compliance breaches, working to implement remediation plans.
  • Maintain records and documentation to demonstrate compliance with applicable laws and policies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Compliance, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in the healthcare industry and certification in data privacy matters (e.g., CIPM, CIPPA, or similar) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance standards and experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, and compliance training.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams.
  • High ethical standards and attention to detail.
